Fireworks Safety – Fuse Act Compliance

In accordance with the San Andreas Fuse Act, the use of Safe and Sane-certified fireworks must be carried out in a safe and controlled manner, with prior coordination through the Department of Forestry and Fire Protection – SanFire. Legal fireworks intended for events must be stored securely, with all handling and setup carried out by authorized SanFire deputies in a designated area prepared specifically for that purpose. Organizers are responsible for ensuring that an appropriate space is available on site where SanFire personnel can safely manage the fireworks prior to their use. This process supports effective risk management, minimizes the potential for fire hazards, and ensures compliance with both state legislation and departmental safety protocols. The use of any fireworks—whether legal or illegal, must be scheduled and approved by the server’s admin team. Legal fireworks used during public or private events must first be scheduled with the GTA World Events Team, who will relay relevant information to SanFire through in-character means for planning and oversight. Illegal fireworks are not freely available throughout the year and may only be used during approved events. Their availability, as well as permissions for use, will be announced by the Events Team accordingly. Always coordinate in advance to ensure proper handling of all fireworks-related scenarios, both IC and OOC.
