SAN FIRE's MAY 2025 DRIVE ENDS

Last Thursday's Academy Session
Friday culminated in the end of May's recruitment drive - The recruitment drive of the spring. With four students graduating to the field training program.
The Recruitment Drive began on May 12th, with a career fair outside the Vespucci Training Facility where prospective applicants could meet with Deputy Fire Marshals to discuss the day-to-day operations of SAN FIRE and ask any burning questions they had about careers with the agency, with applications opening that day - people interested were encouraged to submit an application, whether on their own or with the help of a recruitment officer on hand at the event for the chance at a interview and subsequent invite to an exam and academy.
A subsequent event was then held in Paleto for local residents to meet Deputy Fire Marshals and see the fleet local to themselves, reaching out to anyone in Los Santos County potentially considering a role within the department.

Vespucci and Paleto hosted career fairs respectively during the application period.
Fast forward and now trainees Davidson, Larson, Reeves and Wiggins were given a warm welcome by colleagues from the department as the graduation ceremony was held to swear in the newest Deputy Fire Marshals as well as celebrate their successes and look back on their journey of hard work and dedication through the academy, led by Division Chief Vincenzo Calvani.
Chief Calvani said a few words, also touching on Vespucci's recent renovations as well as welcoming the new trainees thanked colleagues for their support;
"Hello everyone, good afternoon! Today is a special day as we gather here to welcome our newest recruits to the department as well as the final stages of our Vespucci facility overhaul. Months of hard work has gone into reshaping our facility here into a proper home for some of our units and bureaus, following Paleto Station's successful renovation last year. This facility now is home to a gym, classrooms, offices, kitchen and lounge and much more as the work enters its final stages with only the basement to be completed.
As always, I want to thank each one of you for being part of this ceremony, being here today as we celebrate the achievements of our new graduates. Today marks a significant milestone – the end of hard work and achieving goals to the beginning of a new journey for our fresh group of trainees.
A heartfelt thank you goes to our teams of recruitment and training deputies. Your tireless efforts have ensured that our recruits are well-prepared for the challenges that lie ahead, helping mold this outstanding group of individuals each with their stories, goals and achievements.
To the May 2025 SanFire trainees, congratulations! Each one of you embodies qualities like resilience, bravery, and selflessness - key components to any Law Enforcement Officer in the State of San Andreas. As you step into this noble journey, remember that your dedication serves a higher purpose – the safety of our communities.
May courage be your guide in the field and your work, and may your training and colleagues be a source of strength in challenging situations. You are the frontline defenders, the guardians of our neighborhoods, and we have complete faith in your ability to make a positive impact within our community. I am truly proud to stand here today and welcome such talented new personalities to our department. Each one of them has earnt this moment and should be honored for all the effort they've put in.
Now, it's time for our new recruits to receive their badges. Congratulations, and best of luck in all your future endeavors!"
